COTABATO CITY—The Bangsamoro Government is gearing up for the upcoming week-long celebration of its 4th founding anniversary on Jan. 21 to 27, 2023.
This year’s celebration carries the theme “Sama-Samang Pagtataguyod Sa Mas Mapayapa At Mas Masaganang Bangsamoro.”
With this, different committees were organized and assigned to prepare “service-oriented” activities, such as the Tulong Alay sa Bangsamorong Nangangailangan (TABANG), Ayudang Medikal Mula sa Bangsamoro Government (AMBAG), and other social services, for the Bangsamoro constituents which will be held in the region’s seat—Bangsamoro Government Center in Cotabato City.
Committees involved are the Economic Development Committee (EDCom), Development Administrative Committee (DACOM), Social Development Committee (SDC), Infrastructure Development Committee (IPD), and the Peace, Public Order, Safety and Security Committee (PPOSSCOM).
“Every year, we make sure that we commemorate the historic January 21 plebiscite that established the BARMM by providing services to our people,” BARMM Cabinet Secretary Mohd Asnin Pendatun said.
“In keeping with our promise to bring the government closer to the people, we make sure that whenever we commemorate the plebiscite that rarified the Organic Law for the BARMM, we provide services to our people,” he added.
“As our Chief Minister said, isantabi ang personal na interes, Bangsamoro muna,” Pendatun stressed.
