August 29, 2019, during the 14th Day of the First Regular Session, the Parliament approved into law the bill adopting an official Bangsamoro emblem for the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao. Out of the fifty-five (55) Members of Parliament present during the session, forty-nine (49) voted yes and six (6) abstained.
