COTABATO CITY—Eighty (80) scholars from Lanao del Sur finished their Technical-Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education – Technical Education and Skills Development (MBHTE-TESD).
On Aug. 26, 2021, the graduates, composed of 20 carpentry and 20 masonry scholars, received their certificates in Marawi City.
This came after they finished more than 30 days of training and subsequently passing two (2) qualifications under the nationally funded Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP).
As part of their scholarship package, a training support fund worth Php4,360.00 and Php6,280.00 were also given to graduates of carpentry and masonry, respectively.
Aleida Mangata, provincial director of MBHTE-TESD Lanao del Sur, extended her congratulations to the scholars.
Meanwhile, in a video message, TESDA National Secretary Isidro Lapeña also encouraged the graduates to make use of the skills they acquired in the training. (Bangsamoro Information Office)
