Bongao, TAWI-TAWI – Demonstrating the Bangsamoro Government’s commitment to provide accessible services to its people, the Office of the Chief Minister (OCM) held a convergence activity on May 25 to deliver crucial aid to the people of Tawi-Tawi.
OCM’s Project Tulong Alay sa Bangsamorong Nangangailangan (TABANG) spearheaded the activity, with the participation of several BARMM ministries and agencies, setting up tents and kiosks to address diverse needs of the people.
Chief Minister Ahod Ebrahim said in his message that he is personally happy to bring the convergence to the Bangsamoro in Tawi-Tawi with the assurance of “Ipinapangako namin na papalakasin pa ang aming programa sa inyo, dahil ang mas malapit na pamahalaan ay mas makapagbibigay ng mas maraming serbisyo,” he said.
“Hindi lamang natin inilalapit ang serbisyo publiko sa inyo, hatid din natin ang makabagong pamamaraan ng pamamahala na nag-ugat sa iisang hangarin natin tungo sa isang progresibo at magandang kinabukasan. Bahagi ito ng pagtatatag ng pundasyon ng ‘Moral Governance’ sa ating mga komunidad,” Ebrahim said.
Ebrahim, Tawi-Tawi Governor Yshmael “Mang” Sali, along with Members of the Parliament and other officials from the provincial and regional government, also led ceremonial turn-over of several projects, services, and programs during the convergence activity.
