COTABATO CITY—Bangsamoro Jiu-Jitsu athletes triumphed at the Copa De Malasia 2024 Jiu-Jitsu Open Championship, held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on May 18–19, 2024.
The team brought home a total of 21 medals: 5 golds, 7 silvers, and 9 bronzes, demonstrating their dedication, skill, and determination on the international stage.
For Gi matches (grappling with the use of a traditional Gi), the list of winners includes:
Gold: Mohannad Biruar (Purple Belt/Master 1/Male) and Sittie Farhana Ebrahim (Blue Belt/Adult/Female)
