COTABATO CITY (April 2, 2019) – The Cabinet Members of the Bangsamoro Government held its 6th Cabinet Meeting at the Bajau Hall, Office of the Chief Minister building on Tuesday, April 2, to discuss the current status of the ministries under the Bangsamoro Region.
It was the first Cabinet Meeting presided by the Chief Minister himself after the Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) Inauguration was held last March 29, 2019 at the Shariff Kabunsuan Cultural Complex (SKCC) in Cotabato City.
The Ministry of Finance, Budget and Management (MFBM), Ministry of Health (MOH), Ministry of Transportation and Communication (MOTC), Ministry of Labor and Employment (MOLE), Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), and the Bangsamoro Treasury Office (BTO) presented their respective issues and concerns, including financial status and some of their projected activities for the first 100 days of the Bangsamoro government.
Other agenda discussed during the Cabinet Meeting was the list of ARMM offices to be integrated to the BARMM ministries like the ARMM Humanitarian Emergency Action Response Team (HEART), and Regional Reconciliation and Unification Commission (RRUC), among others.
Overview of the Bangsamoro Region’s financial operations and status was also discussed during the meeting.
