COTABATO CITY—BARMM’s Ministry of Public Order and Safety (MPOS), in partnership with the local government, successfully resolved a family feud between two families in Lamitan City, Basilan on April 28, contributing to restoring peace and stability in the area.
The parties signed an amicable agreement to end the hostility for good.
Albarka’s Municipal Justice Chairman Ustadz Hassan Sali, who helped in the settlement, highlighted the significance of forgiveness, saying, “pagkatapos nito ay parehas na kayong magkaroon ng maluwag na pakiramdam dahil alam ninyo na parehas kayong nagpatawad.”
City Councilor Noel Baul expressed his appreciation to the Ministry for mediating and helping to restore peace.
“Nagpapasalamat po kami sa MPOS at sa kanilang Community Affairs Officer ng Basilan na kahit sa maikling panahon ng aming pahingi ng tulong ay agad nila itong na aksyunan,” Baul said.
