COTABATO CITY—Selected senior and middle managers from various BARMM offices and ministries received their Certificates in Public Management (CPM) on Master in Public Management Major in Regional and Local Governance and Development (MPM-RLGD) on Saturday, Oct. 22, in Davao City.
The program was implemented by the Bangsamoro Government in partnership with the Development Academy of the Philippines – Graduate School of Public and Development Management (DAP-GSPDM), which intends to strengthen the bureaucracy and institution building in the region to improve the quality of public service.
BARMM Chief Minister Ahod Ebrahim stressed that the Government of the Day and DAP shared a parallel path towards empowering public servants to perform their respective tasks and roles effectively and innovatively.
Ebrahim reminded BARMM employees who have successfully completed the programs to bring to their workplace the honor and excellence that they have gained and translate it into the agency’s goal and objectives.
“Your responsibilities will now be heavier as you will have more sense of accountability and actionable plans. Allow your gained knowledge and experiences to prosper and spread throughout your agencies,” Ebrahim said.
Moreover, the leadership of BARMM thanked DAP President Atty. Engelbert Caronan, Jr. with the professors, instructors, and responsible personnel in crafting these ladderized programs.
