COTABATO CITY—BARMM’s Ministry of Public Order and Safety (MPOS) provided vital office supplies to the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) in Parang District of Maguindanao del Norte on July 25 to support the development of skills and abilities for Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL).
OIC District Jail Warden, SJO4 Salahudin Guiamalon expressed gratitude for the assistance, saying, “Nagpapasalamat kami sa MPOS sa kanilang suporta ditto sa aming institusyon, itong mga office supplies na ito ay talagang makakatulong sa mga activities namin para sa aming mga persons deprived of liberty (PDL). Kami ditto sa BJMP ay taos-pusong nagpapasalamat.”
Meanwhile, Bhenhar Ayob, the Development Management Officer V of MPOS, emphasized the Ministry’s commitment to providing services to all Bangsamoro citizens.
“Sa MPOS, kami ay nagpupursige na maipaabot sa lahat ng mamamayang Bangsamoro ang mga serbisyo mula sa Bangsamoro Government, at kasali dito ang ating mga kapatid na PDL. Ito ay in line rin sa advocacy ng ating Chief Minister na ‘No one should be left behind’,” Ayob said.
The above-mentioned support to Law Enforcement Agencies is part of the regular activities of the Ministry under the Home Affairs Services – Law Enforcement Coordination Division.
This initiative aims to enhance and strengthen the coordination mechanism between the Bangsamoro Government and law enforcement agencies in the region. (Majid Nur/BIO with reports from MPOS)
