JOLO, Sulu – Jolo Airport, a major hub in the Bangsamoro region, launched a free Wi-Fi service to enhance passenger experience. This initiative is a result of collaboration between the Bangsamoro Airport Authority (BAA) and the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) – Sulu.
Led by Minister Atty. Paisalin P. Tago, BAA implemented the free Wi-Fi service to provide seamless internet connectivity to passengers and visitors. This move aligns with the BARMM’s 12-point priority agenda of transforming the region through digital innovation and e-governance, as well as digitalization agenda of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., aiming to create a digitally-enabled government that serves the Bangsamoro people efficiently.
The introduction of free Wi-Fi at Jolo Airport is a significant step towards strengthening connectivity infrastructure in the region. This initiative underscores the importance of partnerships between governmental agencies in driving progress and improving the overall quality of life for citizens.
