COTABATO CITY—Bangsamoro Chief Minister Ahod “Al Haj Murad” Ebrahim appointed 10 regular officers to man his office’s administrative, management, and finance services on Monday, October 5.
Executive Secretary Abdulraof Macacua said the appointed officials should adhere to work ethics especially the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) government is still in transition.
“You should serve the Bangsamoro with utmost ethics,” Macacua stressed.
The appointed officials are assigned at the Finance, Budget, and Management Services and Administrative Management Services.
The employees went through an independent, strictly merit-based hiring process through the Human Resource Merit Promotion and Selection Board.
“You can be our testimonies to a fair, independent, and strictly merit-based recruitment process,” Sha Elija Alba, chief minister’s attorney-general, said.
Other regional line ministries have also appointed their accountable officials, including Ministries of Environment, Natural Resources and Energy (MENRE), Labor and Employment (MOLE), Agriculture, Fisheries and Agrarian Reform (MAFAR), and Planning and Development Authority (BPDA).
