COTABATO CITY—Following its launch early this year, the feedback application known as the Community Monitoring and Actionable Concerns Tracking System (CM-ACTS) was officially turned over on Monday, Feb. 20, by the Bangsamoro Development Agency (BDA) to the Office of Chief Minister.
CM-ACTS is a digital application developed for community feedback mechanism, which aims to bring the government closer to its citizens by using innovative technology that promotes good governance, specifically transparency and efficiency, of the Bangsamoro Government towards peace and development.
BDA Executive Director Rhadzni Taalim said the activity is one of the milestones of BDA to help manage expectations on the grounds through the CM-ACTS application.
“We are hoping that through the leadership of the Cabinet Secretary, will be able to create a proper and in-depth feedback mechanism,” Taalim said.
“This was formulated because BDA has seen a lot of feedback on the grounds that do not reach the specific ministries of BARMM so hoping that good feedback and complaints also need to be catered and it will especially help how the Bangsamoro service can connect with the people in the BARMM area,” he added.
Meanwhile, Cabinet Secretary Mohd Asnin Pendatun assured that they will make the digital application operational, saying, “we will make it a meaningful mechanism for our constituents”.
As the system is now independently run by the OCM, Pendatun assured that it will be responsive to the people.
“The system will now be independently run by the OCM but more importantly, making it worth meaningful and responsive for our people—that’s a bigger challenge that we are willing to accept,” he said.
Accordingly, the development of said application is related to the project of Support to Bangsamoro Transition, specifically Enhancing Civil Society Organizations (SUBATRA-ECSCO), which aims to aid peaceful, inclusive, safe, and united progress in Bangsamoro Transition. (Majid Nur/BIO)
