COTABATO CITY—Bangsamoro Government’s Ministry of Public Order and Safety (MPOS) handed over on May 3, a set of construction materials worth above Php40,000.00 to the Philippine National Police-Aviation Security Unit – Bangsamoro Autonomous Region (BAR) to enhance its office, in Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao del Norte.
PNP-Aviation Security Group is responsible for securing all the country’s airports against offensive and terroristic acts that threaten civil aviation.
Aviation Security Unit Officer, PLTCoL Pedro Alagano Jr expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Government of the Day’s continuous support to law enforcement agencies, saying, “Very thankful po ang PNP Aviation Security Unit, BAR sa Ministry of Public Order and Safety.”
“Makakaasa po kayo na itong assistance ninyo ay aming ma-maximize para sa enhancement ng aming opisina. Through this, mas mapaigting pa naming ang pag-maintain ng zero incident rate dito sa paliparan ng BARMM,” he said.
Meanwhile, MPOS Dev’t. Officer V Bhenhar Ayob said, “On behalf of the Ministry of Public Order and Safety, we hope na itong munting assistance namin ay makatulong sa inyong effort na mapaganda at ma-improve ang inyong opisina at para na rin mapa-igting niyo pa ang serbisyo ng kaligtasan at seguridad dito sa paliparan ng Bangsamoro.”
The support is implemented through the ministry’s Coordination with Law Enforcement Agencies in the Region (CLEAR) program in optimizing the established partnership in enhancing safety and security. (Majid Nur/BIO with reports from MPOS)
