COTABATO CITY—Development Academy of the Bangsamoro – Center of Training and Assessment (DAB-CTA) is now one of the recognized Learning and Development (L&D) institutions in the Philippines following the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Central Office’s confirmation on Wednesday, Sept. 22.
This puts the DAB-CTA at par with other established government training institutions in the country such as the Civil Service Institute (CSI), CSC Regional Offices, Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP), TESDA, and other instrumentalities of the University of the Philippines.
Based on the Bangsamoro Civil Service Code and the Guidelines set by the CSC Res. No. 2100200 s. 2021, trainings conducted by CSC Recognized L&D Institutions may be for meeting the training requirements of all applicants for government service, which now includes those conducted by the DAB.
“This recognition serves as an evidence of our commitment to institutionalize the Academy’s powers and functions, guided by the Chief Minister’s policy of Moral Governance; and the extension of the BTA (Bangsamoro Transition Authority) will further secure this gradual but vital process,” DAB Executive Director Hisham S. Nando said.
Nando also called on the Bangsamoro Government agencies to coordinate and collaborate with DAB in conducting their in-house or agency-initiated trainings to benefit from the recognition.
DAB is the human capital development training and research arm of the Bangsamoro Government for its agencies, employees, and officials. (Bangsamoro Information Office)
