NORTH COTABATO—Member of the Parliament (MP) Engr. Aida M. Silongan, together with Ministry of Basic, Higher, and Technical Education (MBHTE) Deputy Minister Atty. Haron Meling, spearheaded the simultaneous ground-breaking ceremonies of the school buildings in Midsayap, North Cotabato on Wednesday.
The project, which is located at Endaila Silongan Central Elementary School and Sambulawan Elementary School, is funded by MP Aida Silongan’s Transitional Development Impact Fund (TDIF) of 2020, and implemented through the MBHTE.
The approved program of works includes two school buildings with two classrooms per building; and water and sanitation facilities per school with the total amount of 2.2 million pesos per school and 1.1 million pesos per water and station (WatSan) facility.
Silongan said that the TDIF continuously implement quick impact projects (QIPs) for the development of the Bangsamoro region during the transition period.
“Kung ano iyong nakalagay sa plano at program of work, iyon ang susundin natin, at Inn Shaa Allah, ‘pag nakapakita tayo ng maganda ay mas maraming darating na serbisyo sa atin,” Silongan said.
Meanwhile, MBHTE Deputy Minister Meling emphasized that the ministry is looking forward to give services to other component schools of Bangsamoro Autonomous Region.
“Ang ginagawa natin na ground-breaking ceremony sa araw na ito ay parte ng different projects ng MBHTE sa limang probinsya ng BARMM na binubuo ng 11 school divisions, including the 63 barangay of North Cotabato,” Meling said.
“Gagawin natin itong 63 barangay ng North Cotabato na separate division in the coming days, In Shaa Allah,” he added.
Midsayap Cluster I Coordinator Duma M. Mascud, Focal of MBHTE in Midsayap Cluster I Kuyad Mascud, contractors of the Barrist Builders, and school officials were present during the ceremony. (Bangsamoro Information Office)
