COTABATO CITY – In line with its effort in keeping the public abreast of the programs, projects, and accomplishments of the Bangsamoro Government, the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MOLE) held the third Bangsamoro Constituents Forum in Marawi City on Thursday, February 11.
“We are optimistic to bring transparent, accountable, dignified, and honest governance to the Bangsamoro constituents. We shall serve them by embodying the time honored principle of Moral Governance,” MOLE Minster Romeo Sema said.
The ministries of Interior and Local Government (MILG), Trade, Investments, and Tourism (MTIT), Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform (MAFAR), Natural Resources, and Energy (MENRE), and the Bangsamoro Youth Commission (BYC) and Bangsamoro Planning and Development Authority (BPDA) presented their respective projects and programs for this year, as well as their budget allotted for Marawi City and Lanao del Sur province.
Sema, who is also a parliament member, said his ministry “developed various programs and services to ensure the employability of our Bangsamoro human resources, utilization of their knowledge and skills, and the welfare and protection of every local and overseas Bangsamoro worker.”
Among the participants to the forum were representatives from the religious sector, labor, business, youth, and some Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) members.
The participants also voiced the issues and concerns of their communities so the Bangsamoro Government can immediately act on them.
Also in attendance Thursday were Members of the Parliament Diamla Musa and Marjanie Macasalong, and representatives of MPs Zainoden Mohammad P.Bato, Hamid Aminoddin D.Barra and Abdullah Macapaar.
