The Bangsamoro Government has officially launched its “Tabang Project” or “Tulong Alay sa Bangsamorong Nangangailangan” on Monday, September 2, at the Office of the Chief Minister Compound in Cotabato City.
The BARMM’S Project Tabang aims to provide basic services and assistance to the Bangsamoro people who are in need, and the less fortunate, most especially in poverty and calamity stricken communities.
Bangsamoro Chief Minister Al-haj Murad Ebrahim emphasized that the goal of the project is to reach out to the Bangsamoro people and provide them basic services.
“We believe that governance and public service are not about us, rather it is always about the people,” he said.
In support to the project, the different ministries of the BARMM are conducting various activities such as jobs placement, seeds distribution, and free dental and medical check up to cater to people in need of assistance.
The Project Tabang is a humanitarian project created to alleviate the situation of Bangsamoro community and to fulfill the pledge of Bangsamoro Government, which is to help people in the grassroots.
A simultaneous activity is also being conducted in the area of Rajah Buayan, Maguindanao. It includes the distribution of farm inputs such as seeds to assist farmers in flood-prone areas.
