The kick off ceremony was led by Bangsamoro Education Minister Mohagher Iqbal together with other regional officials.
Brigada Eskwela, a week-long activity of the Department of Education, brings together teachers, parents, and other members of the community to work together to prepare classrooms and other school facilities for the opening of classes in June.
Mayor Shameem Mastura of Sultan Kudarat town also participated in the kick off and pledged his support to education ministry’s goal of continuous improvement of education in the region.
This year’s Brigada Eskwela carries the theme “Matatag na Bayan para sa Maunlad na Paaralan.”
