Gracing the session was Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation, and Unity (PAPRU) Carlito Galvez Jr. who expressed his “extreme happiness” for seeing the product of the peace process.
“I am extremely happy of what I am seeing now on the development of the BARMM.”
He added that the national government is BARMM’s partner in this endeavor. “Kami ang inyong kaagapay para sa ikauunlad ng Bangsamoro.”
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Ebrahim addressed his fellow members of the parliament in the BTA.
“What we are doing today as members of the BTA is very important to the plight of the Bangsamoro people. We hope that everyone will exert at most capacity in order to produce a law that will really be reflective of the aspirations of the Bangsamoro people.”
