The BAGO is the system of the new Bangsamoro Government implemented to assess the government’s operations, programs, and projects in the region. It aims to establish a more efficient system of government operations aligned with the Chief Minister’s vision of moral governance.
The ministries/offices that underwent the assessment were the Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MOTC), Bangsamoro Treasury Office (BTO), and Health, Education, Livelihood, Peace and Synergy (BARMM-HELPS).
All issues and concerns presented by the said ministries will be brought to the attention of the OCM for evaluation and final recommendations. The assessment panel already gave initial resolutions and recommendations.
Executive Secretary Esmael Pasigan spearheaded the Thursday’s session, together with other OCM officials such as Deputy Executive Secretary Abdullah Cusain, Cabinet Secretary Asnin Pendatun, and Regional Planning and Development Office (RPDO) OIC Director Mohajirin Ali.
This is the second round of the BAGO meeting after the first assessment with the Ministry of Public Works (MOPW) last April 4, 2019.
